Hi, I’m Gloria Zulema, and this page is an open book inside my mind—a reflection of my thoughts, experiences, beliefs, inspirations, and personal journey through life.
Be A Kind Mind was born as a reminder to care for my mind (mental health), body (physical well-being), heart (emotions), and others (kindness and giving back). It is my space to share, grow, and hopefully inspire others along the way.
How It All Started
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had the deep desire to help others. But somewhere along the way, I neglected myself. I prioritized everyone else’s needs over mine, placing an invisible strain on my mind. I found myself trapped in cycles of anxiety, depression, and self-doubt—continuously returning to a dark place.
During one of my lowest points, I realized that I, too, needed care. I needed to remind myself that I mattered, that I was worthy, and that even when things didn’t go as planned, it would be okay. I needed motivation, purpose, and self-love. And most importantly, I needed to be that person for myself—the one who uplifts, encourages, and nurtures growth.
That’s when Be A Kind Mind truly took form.
What This Space Is About
While self-care is often talked about, it’s not always a habit we consistently practice. This space is my way of sharing how I navigate my personal journey—overcoming insecurities, pushing forward on tough days, and embracing the process of self-discovery.
My goal? To grow, to share, and to spread a little love and motivation that might brighten someone’s day.
Be A Kind Mind is centered around three pillars:
🌿 Mind – Mental well-being, self-awareness, motivation, and coping with stress, anxiety, and self-doubt.
💪 Body – Physical health, personal wellness journey, fitness, and some of my favorite healthy recipes.
❤️ Heart – Self-love, kindness, giving back, and embracing passions that bring joy.
As you explore my page, you’ll find a blend of English and Spanish, reflecting my cultural roots and personal expression.
Mente Clara, Vida Sana—a clear mind leads to a healthy life. When we care for our mental health, we create clarity (mente clara), which allows us to nurture our body, cultivate meaningful relationships, and ultimately live a more fulfilling life (vida sana).
Happiness is self-made, and while life isn’t always easy, it’s about making the best of it. Let’s navigate this journey together.
